Secretary Address

Dear ACTA - Mumbai Members,

Warm Greeting!!!

It gives me immense pleasure to write my first address as a Secretary of ACTA-Mumbai. I would like to thank all of you for keeping faith on me and providing an opportunity to serve ACTA Mumbai.

LEARN, MOTIVATE AND TEACH !!!

Above key words were given by our previous secretary, Dr. Prasanna and I am fully agreeing to continue his and his team hard work towards motivating, teaching and learning from each other.

Due to COVID pandemic, many of us have gone through difficult time. But on a positive note, we have learned to use virtual platform for our benefits quite effectively. Most of the academic organisation have successfully & smoothly conducted many webinars and conferences on virtual platform. I wish to continue all the academic gathering on-line and especially offline CMEs as no covid related restrictions now.

We are planning to organise four-five major physical meeting across the city and at least once a month webinar. I invite all major institutes to participate and organise the CME in association with ACTA Mumbai. We will emphasize on organising many basic and advance teaching webinars also for our cardiac anaesthesia students/colleagues. We have plan to come up with ACTA Mumbai New letter this year and for that also I am requesting all of you to contribute with interesting cases or study materials or interesting echo images.

I am also thankful to all my seniors, teachers and colleagues for their guidance and support. Keep motivating and guiding me for next two years.

Let’s come together to keep & maintain high academic standards for ACTA Mumbai.
