With the aim to get all practicing cardiac, vascular and thoracic Anesthesiology, in Mumbai, New Bombay, Thane and adjoining suburbs on one platform for the exchange of ideas, ACTA-Mumbai was formed in March 2011.
ACTA-Mumbai has a strong base of its governing council members comprising a mix of all senior & young Cardiac Anesthesiologists working in and around Mumbai.
The first continued medical education programme under the aegis of ACTA-Mumbai was held at Fortis hospital, Mulund, Mumbai on 21st August 2011; and since then there is no looking back. Till date we have organized periodic educational activities in form of quarterly CME’s, TEE workshops, annual FIACTA Mock-Tests etc. ACTA-Mumbai has also hosted the annual IACTA conference in February 2014 and February 2020 that was well appreciated and provided a platform to exchange ideas-experiences with the best in field in our country as well as Internationally.
ACTA-Mumbai at present has an ever-growing list of life members, who are practicing Cardiac Anesthesiology in private as well as public hospitals. We welcome all interested and like-minded people to become member of this organization. The form for life membership is available on the website.
